How long will my outdoor family photo session last?
My priority is producing images that truly capture the relationships between you and your loved ones. I am happy to take things at your pace, which means there will be no strict time limit on your photo session. Every photo shoot is different, but on average I probably tend to spend around 90 minutes with each family.
How many images will I get and how will I receive these?
Every photo shoot is different, so I don't tend to specify a particular number of images. My priority is producing images that truly capture the relationships between you and your loved ones. However - on average - I tend to return around 20 photographs per session. Where possible, I will always aim to do so within two to three weeks of the date of your photo session.
You will receive your photographs as high resolution digital images, which will be available to access via a private, password protected online viewing platform. I will request payment of the remainder of the session fee via bank transfer before providing the relevant link.
What areas do you cover and how far are you willing to travel?
I cover areas within Cheshire East (Rainow, Bollington, Macclesfield, Prestbury, Wilmslow, Alderley Edge, Handforth, Chelford, Mobberley, Knutsford, Holmes Chapel and Congleton), as well as into the Peak District.
I will be very happy to travel to any location within 30 miles from home with no additional travel costs. You may wish to select a location a little further afield; this is absolutely fine, but may be subject to additional travel costs depending on distance.
Can you suggest a location for my outdoor family photo session?
Absolutely! There are so many beautiful outdoor spaces to be explored in Cheshire and into the Peak District; I will be more than happy to lend a helping hand in finding a lovely location for you and your family to explore.
Can we include our dog in our outdoor family photo session?
Yes, if you feel this would be appropriate, your four-legged friend will be a welcome addition!
What happens if it is raining on the day of our outdoor family photo session?
Unfortunately, the good old British weather does make this a possibility! If bad weather means that we are unable to continue with your outdoor photo session as planned, it will be no problem to rearrange for another convenient date and time. In some situations, it may be possible to simply consider a different location.
If there are particular circumstances which mean you are unable to commit to an alternative date for an outdoor family photo session, it may be appropriate to consider an indoor setting instead. Interactive play, story time, creative/craft activities and baking often provide lovely opportunities for family photographs within the familiarity of your own home.
What happens if a member of my family is unwell on the day of our photo session?
These things happen! It will be no problem to rearrange your photo session, should you need to for this reason; I just ask that you provide at least two hours notice of any cancellation, wherever possible.
Do you have any qualifications in relation to photography?
Yes, I have a Diploma in Professional Photography.
Are you insured and DBS checked?
Yes, I am fully insured (Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance) and have a current and clear DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate.
