About Kate Stevenson Creative Photography

Hello! I'm Kate, thank you so much for taking the time to visit my website - I very much hope you like what you find!

I am lucky enough to have lived in Cheshire all my life and four years ago moved to Rainow - a beautiful village in the hills above Macclesfield - with my lovely husband and our playful and affectionate Border Terrier. We now have two wonderful (and very lively) little girls, as well as two young nieces and spend as much time with family as we possibly can :-)

I have wanted to work with children for as long as I can remember and spent 11 years doing so within the field of Speech and Language Therapy. However, my true passion is photography and a couple of years ago I plucked up the courage to step away from my full-time job in order to pursue my dream and set up my very own little business... and here it is!

I am a children and families photographer specialising in natural outdoor portraits. I particularly love capturing spontaneous real-life moments during family interaction in the fresh air and natural light of the great outdoors.
